This can include Medicare look-alike/wrap COB MA PDP MA-PDP solutions. This leader will be responsible for leading a team of GRS Sales and/or Account Managers who will be subject matter experts for the Group Retiree product portfolio. S/he will also lead all efforts associated with increasing the profitability of this book of business; will shape the overall retiree strategy and objectives; and will be responsible for leading development and execution of strategies to protect and grow membership and related operating gain. Other responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: * Partner with Commercial Account management and sales in all markets Labor and Trust and ANA to convert existing COB and Medicare supplement look alike customers to MA and MA-PDP solutions. * Develop and execute GRS conversion strategy in partnership with GRS and commercial leadership in order to align overall account strategies prioritize accounts and facilitate ongoing strategic discussions in local markets. * Lead customer sales and retention strategies with commercial account executives in order to position MA and MA-PDP solutions. * Explore, define and execute strategies to drive membership and operating growth to augment traditional sales activity. * Lead all aspects of activities to protect core membership and defend margins. * Develop operating model and participation criteria to optimize membership and operating gain. * Represent GRS sales and account management in network development efforts to build appropriate access for group retirees nationally. * Manage and ensure all large client specific customizations are aligned to customer needs and expectations and to profitably deliver on customer commitments. * Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports. * Requires a BA/BS in business or related field; 10 years of combined product sales and account management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
