Performs a variety of clerical and related tasks in a medical office environment. Ensures patient satisfaction. Provides new and existing patient registration and updates established patient records. Responsible for the cash drawer, ensuring proper balances. Receives payment for services rendered and balances owed. Answers phones and schedules appointments. Takes legible messages with correct spelling into the medical record. Reschedules appointments for patients as needed. Works reports as needed. Performs clerical and general office work of moderate difficulty. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience in clerical, general office procedures, data entry, medical terminology and knowledge of clinic forms required.
