Job Description The Customer Support Representative serves as a point of contact for incoming customer phone calls regarding product information and service. Ensures that customers’ questions and concerns are completely resolved in a timely and courteous manner at the earliest possible level of intervention. ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities (will include but are not limited to): Receives incoming customer, dealer, and distributor phone calls for service and technical product information. Works to ensure that questions and concerns are completely resolved in a timely and courteous manner at the earliest possible level of intervention. Responds to incoming customer, dealer, and distributor letters, faxes, and internet contacts and composes appropriate written responses. Follows through on every phone call without having to transfer caller to another company representative. When answer is unknown, researches answer and then follows up with customer in a timely manner. Works closely with mass retailers and distributor service manager to resolve customer complaints in an economically viable manner. Monitors and records customer complaint activity for all product lines and specific data collection purposes. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: At least one (1) to three (3) years in customer support environment SG 2: 1-3 years’ experience SG 3: 3-4 years’ experience Computer Skills: Entry level technical skills in data entry.
